 Nearly two decades ago my first step in real estate was an adventure as an investor. It began with a New Haven County, CT fix-it-up-and-flip-it shoreline home. It was a true character building experience. This led to condominium partnerships in Hartford County, CT and Hilton Head Island, SC, several REIT (Real Estate Investment Trust) limited partnerships, then simultaneously owning, along with my banks, several single family homes in lower Fairfield County.
